Piazza Produce
In 1970, Pete Piazza and his father, Paul, started the company with a single truck, making regular runs to the historic Indianapolis produce terminal. Years of hard work made us who we are today, and established Piazza Produce as a trusted foodservice provider.
Throughout the years, Piazza Produce has joined with some of the nation’s leading organizations to provide our customers with unique products and the freshest produce available. In 1997, Piazza Produce joined with another Indianapolis produce supplier, Indianapolis Fruit Company, Inc. Today, we work together to provide both the food service and retail industries with fruits, vegetables, dairy, floral and specialty items. Piazza Produce handles food service distribution while Indianapolis Fruit provides retail distribution.
Piazza Produce delivers to over 150 surrounding cities including those in Ohio, Kentucky, Illinois and Michigan. This allows us a large distribution network in which we are able to back haul and deliver products from producers who need help distributing their products. Our fleet has grown to include trucks equipped with refrigeration and GPS tracking devices, making us a great option for dry or perishable loads.
